Vicki and Brian, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Cute little hotel off the beaten path but not to far from Edinburgh. You could easily park at the Linlithgow station and take the train right into Edinburgh. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the room overlooking the North Sea was an added bonus. Definitely will stay here again if we are back in the Edinburgh area.
Jacob, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

We only stayed at the Richmond Park Hotel for one night as we were meeting other family members to do the Bo’ness & Kinneil steam train trip. The hotel is lovely with welcoming efficient staff. The copper kiln bar & restaurant is cosy and there is an outside area with picnic tables and chairs for summers evenings. We stayed in a superior king room & it was spacious and very comfortable, Bar & food prices are very reasonable and we had an excellent stay. Highly recommend!
Tracy, 1-night trip

Lovely property great food and staff
Emma, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

We had a family room. Easy to pull up and park right outside the room. Beds very comfortable and view wonderful. It was a short 10 min drive to the station and a 20 min. train ride to the heart of Edinburgh. Definitely would stay again....so easy! Close to some great sites with Blackness Castle and Linithgow Palace too.
Fiona, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great location. Easy transportation into Edinburgh and airport. Lots of historical sights in surrounding area.
Gordon, 3-night trip

2/10 Terrible

The room was very dusty and needed to vaccum as well. It seems like they weren't cleaning between changing guests because of the way room was. Definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here
Tahmid, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

We chose The Richmond because it is a short drive to the Kinneil House, which was on our list of historical buildings to visit. We highly recommend The Richmond, for its charm, excellent food, friendly and helpful staff.
Ruby C, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Plenty of car parking, the staff were warm and welcoming and the room was clean, the bathroom was very spacious, and the restaurant downstairs was very convenient

Mohamed, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Very clean. Friendly efficient staff. Far too much grey. Tiny window in room.
Sam, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Last minute booking. Was put in the parkwood (room 90) and much like a previous review the room was not clean. One window opened out of 5 to air out the room, which hovered around 28 degrees Celsius with no fan. But bright blue fluorescent lighting at night made it necessary to close the blind and block out cooler night air. Felt lucky to get towels. Besides coffee next to no other amenities. TV didn't turn off after freezing watching Netflix. Had to unplug it. Disappointed for sure.
Elisabeth, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

nice place
Jeremy, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Restaurant was lovely! Staff were all great! Room was less than expected. Bathroom shower was terribly small. Air in that room was not fresh, and unfortunately permeated the main room.
Terry, 6-night trip

6/10 Okay

Staff at check in was friendly. We booked a Classic Family room just for a night to catch our flight home next morning from EDI as it is just a 20 min drive by car and didn't want to pay hundreds to stay in the city. Room felt dated with visible painted over damage on wall squeaky door and lose window handle. The beds weren't comfortable and overall it was noisy. Thr bathroom had quiet a few tiles that were broken and it wasn't the cleanest around the sink. The toilet seat was fairly lose. Was ok for a night but would not stay there again in the same room . Maybe other rooms are better? Cant comment on food as we opted not to have breakfast and found the pub's prices to expensive for us Decided to get pizza from Barracuda which was really tasty.
