They MUST replace the terribly soft mattresses! I have two friends who hurt their back and cancelled their weekend activities in Wolverhampton!
Samson, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Clean room, but a bit stuffy. Ground floor so felt unsafe to leave window open overnight. Booked at very short notice. Staff helpful. Thanks

I enjoyed my stay , staff were great and very happy with all night bar and exit entrance facility. One down side is the traffic noise all night
Steve, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Check in was quick and efficient and signs and clear room numbers made finding the way around the hotel easy. The room didn't smell too pleasant when I first arrived so I had to open the window to let some fresh air in. The carpet looked worn and had burn marks and stains on it and the white chair in the room was dirty looking. Despite the busy road outside, the room was reasonably quiet so I got a good nights sleep even though the mattress on the bed was far from great. The en-suite bathroom however was much better than the rest of the room. Clean with a great shower and quality towels. Great location with only a short walk to Wolverhampton city centre and a few minutes away from the football ground.

Not the Ritz but Ok

Stayed here more for convenience than star rating. Basic but clean, staff friendly enough. Only downside was the noise being on the busy ringroad, making it difficult if you stay on the front and having a window open.

After reading other reviews, some not so complimentary, I thought the hotel was excellent. Clean and comfortable.

8/10 Very good

Really close to Wolves fc where i was going for a wedding reception and shopping areas. Had to change rooms as the tv didn't work and unfortunately opted for one on the lower ground floor, next to the car park, which could be noisy at times. Overall though a great budget hotel with very nice staff.
David, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

mixed feelings

A convenient Hotel , but charged £5 to park the car over night..The receptionists hide behind a screen, very impersonal.. Being in a front room with no Aircon in the summer, was very very noisy, next to a busy roundabout, with the window open, but still noisy with it closed! Only 2 pillows, Shower was good.. Mattress was very soft.. A cheap stay..

2/10 Poor

The hotel was a budget hotel not the best i feel there was some illegal imagination people there and the hotel really smelt bad it was that bad i actually left at 2.30 in the morning shame because it could be a nice hotel

BHAFC

Nice friendly staff, hotel could do with a bit of tlc, our room smelt of cats pee even with window open. But it was central and easy to get about, will stay here again.

2nd stay very comfortable
John, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Room was clean. Very dated more than dirty. Bath had old scale marks all over it. And the floor was grim. The pull out bed had hairs on the sheet. Ans wasnt very sturdy. Lady on reception on check in was lovely and cherful and helpful. Man later in the evening was rude. We Asked for an extra pillow ( as only 1 pillow each - family of 3) was just told no! No sorry or let me try help you. Just no!!! 0 customer service skills. However we only stayed for one night. Arrived 6pm and left at 4am. So it was ok for that, but wouldnt stay for longer. Excellent location for the football which is the reason for our stay. Few min walk to stadium. Parking on site and a reasonable amount of spaces - was easy to find and only £5 for 24°.
James, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

I’ve stay there a few times now Cheap and close to town . Like Baked Beans … does the job .
Rajiv, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Basic room , which we expected for Bruce which was very reasonable . Polite staff and good check in. Only negative was the bed was so soft with a thin mattress. If bed had been more comfy I’d had given 4 stars. Outside car park needs a good sweep. Not a good advert for the stay and additionally questions security aspect if it looks like a place people clean out their cars before heading off . Overall though for price can’t complain .
