While I initially booked this stay with optimism based on positive reviews, our experience quickly revealed that the conditions at this property were far below reasonable expectations for a safe, clean, and comfortable stay.
We arrived around 6:00 p.m. on June 24 for what was supposed to be a four-night stay. Upon arrival, we were immediately concerned when we saw two individuals sitting on the curb outside the lobby who appeared to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. This set an unsettling tone before we even checked in.
As someone recovering from a herniated disc and currently suffering from sciatica, I asked the front desk about elevator access. I was told there was only one elevator located on the complete opposite side of the hotel from our room on the second floor—making it extremely difficult and painful for me to carry luggage and access our accommodations.
Upon walking to our room, we encountered overflowing trash cans and cigarette butts scattered around the premises. Inside the pool area, guests were openly consuming alcohol—both from cans and glass bottles (while swimming)—despite clear signage prohibiting glass in the pool area. This was not only a violation of hotel policy but also a serious safety hazard, especially for families with young children like ours.
