Staff were outstanding! Breakfast wonderful. The stair carpeting could use a good cleaning as it does not lend a good impression before you enter your room. My room was very old, however, the bed was very comfortable. But most of all, the hospitality and friendliness of ALL the staff made the stay exceptional.

This is a very old historic hotel in the center of Town. The rugs and communal areas need an upgrade. The rooms are small but very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff are very helpful . The continental breakfast is plenty.Their biggest issue is that the walls are paper thin so it’s difficult if you have a noisy neighbor or someone with a tv on. The price for a room in-the summer is ridiculous but that is Nantucket.

We are very pleased with our stay at the Jared Coffin House. This hotel is in a great location, only a short walk from the Whaling Museum and the main shopping area of town. It also offers a wide variety of complementary services including a delicious breakfast, bicycles, umbrellas, and beach items. The staff were very cheerful and helpful, as well. Given the historic nature of the building, we were pleasantly surprised by its modern amenities. We will definitely look to stay here on our next trip to the island!
