A great location for a good price with restaurants and bars on the main square. As a young backpacker I had no issues but there is no lift and the stairs are a narrow and a little steep so may be challenging for those with luggage / disability. Room was on the top floor and whilst clean and adequate it was a tight squeeze

The location is amazing, right next to everything you need when you go out or need a quick bite. However the staff were rude to my girlfriend when we were at the wrong Rembrandt hotel of our booking (the two are on the same block). Instead of helping he asked her if she “read the first line in the booking”. This kind of attitude is unacceptable and for that I would never stay here again.

Good place to stay with amazing location and connectivity by tram to Central station. Even had Albert heijn supermarket right opposite to the hotel. Our room was not city facing therefore was away from balcony and city noise. Very good air conditioning therefore good for hot weather.The only thing got to bear in mind is the hotel doesn't have a lift and that Information is missing from the hotel provided information. Due to that, this hotel isn't a right choice for people with disability or with babies since you got to carry whole luggage up the massive 50+ stairs up to the reception and stairs which has a very steep incline. Otherwise its moneys worth.

Very nice location, you have public transportation a few steps from the property. Staff were very friendly. Keep in mind you have to climb staircases to get to your room. We arrived before check-in time but staff stored our luggages for us. There’s a diversity of restaurants and pubs around. We stayed for a week and we loved the stay at this hotel.

Great location for night life and fun design for rooms. There are stairs to the rooms so be prepared. Rooms are typical Dutch layout with in room shower/bathroom. You will find that pretty standard in the Netherlands. The shower worked great, especially for someone tall like myself. Rooms are designed with luggage hideaways to save space. The shower worked Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They keep the building very secure during the night but I had no problems getting in and out.

Very cool hotel, near lots of pubs, cafes, and a tram stop. Great restaurants in the area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, very responsive to messages I sent before we arrived. The rooms are small, and the stairs are very steep - pack light! But they’re very clean and well furnished, great water pressure and hot water in the showers. I think it’s a great hotel for backpackers wanting to get a good view of Amsterdam. It’s pretty loud at night, with the pubs and the tram running, but in my twenties I definitely wouldn’t have cared at all! The area around Rembrandtplein has a great vibe, lots of fun to be had there.
