I highly recommend this place for its location. Has friendly staff. They accommodated us for early check in. Matthieu was very helpful in arranging our transportation from the train station to the hotel and back. Our room has all the essentials, with the garden view, and enough space for a sitting area. Location, parking and reception excellent. Mattress much less so, and like many French hotels the sink plug/stoppers inoperable in the bathroom. Maybe June is not the best time to visit, the fly population borders on horrendous.

Wonderful staff and great location. Hotel is also good for rates but it needs some fixing up. The Internet is horrible (non-existent) and the rooms is very damp feeling. It is impossible to stop the shower from leaking all over the floor and we had ants all up our door when we checked in. As the hotel was full we could not move but the staff was helpful in solving the problem. It was ok for the one night as it was very convenient.

Mathieu was a charming host and a valuable source of advice for dining and sightseeing options…the hotel is in a perfect location next to the elevators to/from the village and also next to the Chateau which is a good place to start because it’s all downhill from there.
