Such an amazing resort! I am so sorry we were only there for one night cause this is the kinda place I would have spent several days. Front desk was nice enough to accommodate out late arrival and help us narrow down some nice beaches in the area.

Hahei Beach resort is a beautiful place. Only mistake i did was, i didnt book a ocean view room. The view would have been spectacular. The best thing about this resort is that it accommodates cooking, which is fun if going with friends and you feel like doing some bbq. Also, if you going to Hahei, do all your shopping in Auckland. Otherwise, there are shops around which can be quiet expensive.

We stayed in a studio which was spacious and had everything for a few days stay. Bed was a little soft for me but thats a personal preference. We had dinner at the deck, pizza which was very good. The other restaurant had already closed @ 7 . Highly recommend a stay here

We rented Studio #4 and it was very nice! Large, clean, well stocked kitchen accessories, air conditioning if you wanted, right at beach access. Camper spots were well manicured grass pads. Enough meal choices in the small town, which was easily within walking distance. Would have loved to stay longer, but our itinerary did not allow it.

Next time I'll ensure I don't book a cabin below somebody else's because we could hear heavy foosteps from children and adults past our bedtime. But otherwise it was fine, The setting is magnificent with the beach nearby, the grounds were kept tidy, the receptionists was helpful, the other guests were friendly, and it was easy to drive in and out, including to reach our dinner venue.

Perfect location, within walking distance to Hahei beach. Cathedral Cove walking track is only a few minutes away. Closer to Hot Water Beach also, only 10 minutes drive away. The resort has onsite alfresco dining and a bar. Our cabin has a washing machine and full kitchen amenities. We love it. The only down side is our cabin only has 1 bathroom and 1 toilet. The cabin can sleeps up to 8 people. So it was a struggle for 8 people in the morning. Shower has low pressure, water ran very slow. We wished it had stronger water flow. Other than that. We would recommended to families and friends.

I cannot recommend this place to anyone due to the disappointing level of service we received. We called them to inform them of our late arrival. Unfortunately there was bridge construction that began at 8pm, and we were not allowed to pass. The only other option would be to drive an additional 2.5 hours in the rain at night through the mountains. This construction apparently has been an ongoing thing that locals know about, and I would have expected them to inform us, as there are only 2 roads into the property. Pretty important information that they left out when we called them. We ended up having to stay at another place, AND Hahei Beach Resort still charged us. Sad to see that this place does not go above and beyond for the customer.

Our room was clean spacious with easy access to the beach. Bed was comfy but a queen or king bed would've been better. Overall our stay was wonderful. We tried out the kayak to Cathedral cove, that was fun.

Me ha decepcionado muchísimo. La palabra resort no se corresponde con este hotel. Lo único bueno que tiene es la ubicación al lado de la playa. Llegamos a las 6 de la tarde y ya no había nadie en recepción, en un sobre habían dejado mi número de habitación con un mapa difícil de entender donde ponía cabaña costera, Después de intentar abrir varias cabañas costeras con mi mismo número, resulta que era interior. La tv no funcionaba, super pequeña la cabaña, sin baño, sin aire acondicionado. Y les hablé dos veces para ver donde dejaba las llaves al hacer el check out porque tampoco estaban y ni me contestaron

Great location in a beautiful area with beach access right out the front. The unit could use some refurbishing -it's a bit dated- but all functional and reasonably comfortable (the couch, not so great but the beds were nice). Washer and dryer in the unit. The resort has hot tubs you can rent.
