Hot breakfast is included in your stay and the breakfast room was very busy when we went to check it out. We’re not big hot breakfast people, so ended up going to a local cafe instead, but if hot breakfast is your thing, it’s a great deal. We loved that our room got serviced and the beds made daily, a quaint custom that marched the retro 50s motel feel of the establishment.

This motel is very old and in dire need of an update. There are tiny black flies that come out of the drains. The bathtub does not drain. The rubber mat that was available for the shower had mold on it. There was no cover on the ironing board. The room was very moist, everything felt damp. Check-in was easy. We did not stay for the free breakfast so unable to rate.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Trudy assisted us with an issue immediately and Leo in the Breakfast Room was super friendly, always cheerful and very helpful. Mike was very easy to deal with at check-in and quite friendly. This is an older property but very well maintained. I would highly recommend the Cavendish Motel for anyone looking of a good, clean room and easy access to all of P.E. I. Stayed for 4 nights and able to explore the Island easily from this central point.
