This was a very clean, family owned motel, with a full sized fridge and kitchenette. It was right across the street from the beach. The owner was extremely pleasant and gave us loads of good recommendations. I will definitely be back when we can stay longer.

Don't be fooled by the outside appearance. It's a small older hotel but the room was very clean and updated with fresh paint, tile floors and new furniture. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and took time to chat with me about my trip.

The Darlington House was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Myrtle Beach for a few days. It’s quaint and clean with a great location. The family that owns the hotel takes great pride in it and went above a beyond accommodating an early check in and even allowing us to borrow a beach umbrella! We will definitely be back.

The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Our room was a bit dated, but clean. The pool was nice as well and staff offered us poolside games/ rafts/ beach toys to borrow. It was great being so close to the beach and enjoying the view from the balcony. Only downside was no elevator, but that wasn't an issue for us. Great family owned place! Would definitely come back in the future

Staff was really nice, you kind of felt that you knew them a little bit beforehand. Good location close to the beach. Four floors but no elevator so if you need that just ask for a room at first floor if any is available. Easy to park.

Wonderful stay! Both of the front desk administrators were very kind and extremely friendly. Our room was very clean and had a great view. A little loud when motorcycles or cars played loud music, but it's summertime and expected...otherwise very pleasant. Great location, very walkable, safe parking, and an overall great stay.
