The room was fantastic. Everything was so clean you could hear it squeak! For an older hotel I was very impressed. There was one issue that I wasn't satisfied with. When I booked this room online it was with a third party BUT, it was listed with NO PET FEE. This is one of the main reasons I booked. I wanted to save that money. Our little chi you would never even know she was there. There was nothing in any of the final paper work about it at all. It gave me the charges with tax and we were set. When we arrived and I was told there was a pet fee of $15 and with tax it was 17+ Needless to say I was not happy and the extra tax on it was a rip off. That pet fee should have been in with the bill as a whole not a separate charge. Maybe this is a TN thing? Anyway, I talked to this nice fellow and he had the manager on the line. Instead of honoring what was online (which is between he and the third party) he charged me the pet fee anyway. Sorry, that's not how you do business. We tried a new thing to save a little money. For what we paid we could have stayed at the resort up the road that we normally stayed at with more conveniences. Still, it was a one night stay and it served the purpose. Oh, one other great point. They give you a small gift bag with snacks. I thought that was awesome. I wasn't happy about the clock that was preset and went off at 6am though. They don't have a working ice machine either. You get it from a cooler in the office when they are there. 10am-6pm
