This place has a good location. Not far away from the attractions. However, the bathroom is a big concern. After showering, the water splashed almost the entire bathroom floor and made it slippery. Also, there seems to be no ventilation to dry the bathroom. Hope the bathroom can be improved.

Comparable in concept to a modest university residence hall, CityBox offers virtually none of the usual hotel amenities. No reception staff to welcome guests; no television in the room or anywhere; no kettle; no coffeemaker; no coffee/tea caddy; no drinking glass or cup in the room, though cardboard cups are available in the tiny kitchenette in the commons area; no mini-fridge; no amenities kit. The rooms are small and spartan though clean. Common areas are a bit untidy with clean and used towel carts maintained in the hallways. The facility is about a 20-30 minute walk to the Old Town and Wharf area. There is a supermarket across the street as well as several small fast-food restaurants. Marg & Bein is an excellent neighbourhood Norwegian restaurant around the corner.

Clean spacious room, great location, helpful staff. Laundry room with card payment was also an unexpected bonus. Downside was that the communal area was being renovated so some facilities were unavailable which was disappointing. Couldn’t work out the air conditioning controls so room got extremely hot at night. Self check-in also didn’t work.

The Citybox Hotel in Berlin is an excellent hotel. It has a good location within walking distance of the main tourist area. It has light rail stops nearby, and the Central Business District is close by with plenty of options for shopping and dining. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional and the hotel seemed quite new and clean.

The room was excellent—clean, modern, and and the location was also great, few minutes walk from the train station. I was also pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a double room, which was a fantastic touch. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are modern and have everything you need including a shower. The only thing they don't have is a TV, which is fine by me. Perfect stay.

Very convenient location, 10-20 minute walk to the most popular city sites. 20 Minute walk to Bryggen wharf, 10-15 to the flonicular. Super easy check in, which option to drop off baggage. Super easy to check out. I was upgraded both times, hotel was super clean. Loved it so much that when I came back to Bergen I stayed again for one night.

Check in wasn't easy as the info provided via the booking company ( not the hotel) was wrong...we had to get help from staff at the hotel, which was fine because we arrived at a time of day when someone was available. Once inside, we were able to stow our luggage, and return later, to once again find the check in system wouldn't work...according to the person on duty, this was the fault of the booking company.. VERY irritating. However, both members of staff who helped us were extremely professional. The room we had was spotless, comfy( although not incredibly warm). Good shower and very comfy bed. No kettle in room, but free access to coffee machine in the lobby( no tea though...we're English and love our morning cuppa😉). All in all, a pretty good hotel for the price.
