Sacajawea Hotel — Historic Charm Done Right The Sacajawea Hotel has been beautifully updated while still holding onto all the charm and character you’d expect from a hotel dating back to 1910. They’ve done a great job modernizing the property without taking away what makes staying somewhere this historic so special. The location is fantastic, with food right onsite and plenty of things to see and do nearby. The entire property was extremely well maintained, and the staff was absolutely glorious—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made our stay that much better. This was one of those places where you immediately know you’d stay again. Anytime our travels bring us back through Three Forks, Montana, the Sacajawea Hotel will be where we stay. Great location, beautiful property, wonderful staff, and just the right amount of historic charm.

It's a well kept historic hotel. As long as that's what you're expecting, you'll enjoy your stay. The staff were very helpful, and the food options on-site were good. Great place, clean room, helpful staff who showed us local walks and offered champagne on arrival. Bikes were available to borrow too which was excellent. Great grab-and-go breakfast too with delicious banana bread and good coffee options. Only slight hiccup was we were in a room with an adjoining door and the TV from next door was loud enough to disturb sleep after 11pm. However, this was rectified promptly and professionally by staff.

Our hotel room was very small (John Colter room with a king-size bed). There was minimal room to move around. It also had no refrigerator or microwave. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was adequate. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. It helped that the hotel had two restaurants to choose from: one more casual and the other fine dining. The little town of Three Forks is very quaint and historical. You can find a coffee shop, a couple of small dining options, an ice cream shop, and even a small museum. We saw bicycles at the hotel, which we believe guests can use.
