A great place to stay for the value and location. Would definitely go there again.

The room itself was clean and appeared to be newly renovated, but the property and the surrounding area are in severe disrepair. I’m down for a motor lodge/ roadside motel, but Snelling looks like it peaked about 50 years ago. The gentleman checking us in was very friendly.

Easy Stay

Motel was clean, close to airport, and affordable.

Basic no frills older building but clean, newly renovated with friendly helpful staff. Convenient to public transportation, airport and down town. Enjoyed the stay.

Motel s run down and does not give a good impression when you see it. Room was basic but clean. Area felt safe but nothing nearby to eat or even a coffee place unless you have a car. But price affordable so probably a case of “you get what you pay for” If you just want a place to sleep and get a shower it’s ok

When I first saw this place, my heart sank; from the outside, it looks like a pretty awful motel. The hotel looks very dated and the exterior paint is peeling all over. My first room has dirty walls and the furniture was in mediocre condition. The staff moved me to a nicer looking room. The deadbolts don't work because the wrong strike plates are installed. Overall, my stay was decent and the staff was friendly, but I would not stay here again. There are very little in the way of nearby shops or restaurant, but if you have business with the VA hospital across the street, it's extremely convenient.

Nice rooms and a great price , there was a microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room and even received a call to see if we needed anything. Polite and courteous staff.

Nice, undergoing construction but clean rooms, even if a little run-down. Nice staff, friendly and right next to the metro

great experience

This hotel is undergoing new renovations and my room was fantastic, everything new from the bathroom to the new windows, carpet and all new furniture. this was an excellent choice for my trip to Fort Snelling. walking distance to the rail transit.

Thank You!

Room was SPOTLESS and well-appointed, although I recommend having facial tissues available. Check-in was efficient and courteous, even though it was a late arrival time. Trickiest issue is finding the way into the property (the city's problem, not the owners').

Would recommend to a friend

Never been to Minnesota before but stayed here so I could take the train to the mall or America and the twins game. It was clean, safe, close to the train stations, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely staying here if I end up back in the twin cities!

Booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and was pleasantly surprised. The location was perfect for our trip. Metro was super convenient. Room was cleaned every day. Hotel staff was friendly. Will definitely be back.

Our first impression when checking in was that we weren't sure what we were going to get. But the room was better than what we thought. It was clean suited our needs for an overnight stay. There were a few cosmetic things, but again, it was clean and that is what matters most. We would stay there again

Check in was easy, the room was nice and recently redone and clean. It's a convenient location. The exterior needs renovation, but I sense the owners care about the interior first, which is good. I felt safe at all times. It is located near the airport, local busy streets, and the light rail line, so expect some noise from those facilities.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The blue line is a block away so very convenient. Sheets, towels, etc. All clean. Very quiet. The only slight negatives would be that the carpet itself is a little worn and the Wi-Fi is a little spotty. But overall we were very happy with the stay and would stay here again.

The room was fine -- clean, with everything we needed. The property was also fine, though the stairwell was cluttered and appeared to be in some state of repair. The location was perfect for us. There was no restaurant but we had a great lunch at SeaSalt, nearby. The next morning I picked up fruit and a muffin at the nearest grocery store while getting my 10K steps in. It was much better than I expected!

Room was clean but small. Only 1 chair (not very comfortable) in a room with a king-size bed makes it not very inviting in the daytime. Needs another chair. No hand soap at the sink. No hair dryer. No place to hang coats or other garments. Hard to find the spot to access hot water in the shower. Bed needed heavier blanket. About as basic as accommodations get. But the staff was friendly and helpful.
