This is a special place, a piece of history. The rooms are efficient, everything you need is right out the door in this perfect location. Rays Pizza/Bagel Cafe is a classic deli with a fantastic selection of hot and cold food. No frills, lots of lower east side vibe. One of my favorite places.

Great location which is the primary reason we chose this hotel. Very old hotel so minimum amenities - no elevator, no microwave or refrigerator which would have helped us. Friendly and helpful staff. The stay was super lovely and super central to everything literally the perfect location and the staff was super nice and helpful, we had a early flight and a late flight and they let us store our luggage’s in the meantime I would 100% stay here again.

Even though it is an older property and I had some reservations about staying there, it met my expectations. It was always clean; towels were changed and the room was cleaned daily. The location is PERFECT and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. However, it's a simple hotel. Do not expect it to be a 4 or 5 star place and you'll be fine. Rooms can be noisy sometimes because of the A/C and restrooms, especially during night when the place is quieter. That's the only thing that bothered me while trying to have a good sleep. Apart from that, I enjoyed my time there.

Met my needs, for sure. The goal was to get out and do stuff. The location and practical room supported such an endeavor. Gave classic vibes. My visit was during a heat wave. The a/c was working hard! Pro tip: bring peppermint soaps and multiple wash cloths. Saw zero bugs brought zero bugs home. A win. For those who travel light and require little, This one’s for you.
