8/10 Very good

Very impressive use of a historic building into a modern upscale hotel. Great location as well

We enjoyed our stay. It was only one night but we were able to check in early, which was a huge bonus. It is close to everything we visited. No complaints.

The staff were fabulous, despite our flight coming in significantly late, they stayed to help check us in. They were accommodating and kind. The building itself is in a very private courtyard in an amazing area. The room was comfortable, the jacuzzi spacious, and the patio was perfect with a view of Duomo and the square across the street. Wish we had stayed longer!

The host was wonderful. This place is a very short ride from the airport. I had a car and they had safe, secure parking. The location is perfect for walking to all the tourist sites downtown Catania.

A very central location, away from the heavy tourist action, which gives us a more intimate experience. It’s super that they have a parking spot which is accessible 24 hours in the interior court of the building. Very safe, and with a personal statue in the center of the courtyard. My room had a double sized Jacuzzi. And my balcony was a place where I sat many hours in the late night watching the Piazza that was close to the building. The ladies at reception were exquisite. My check-in and check out smooth and the communications were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed Catania and the experience at this Palazzo. BnB

We had a very quick stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location is amazing. Wonderful restaurants in bars are everywhere. So nice to be in the heart of it all. Love the architecture. Amenities and ambience are average. Again location is awesome. I would recommend someone staying there for a night or two.

4/10 Fair

Large room, marble everywhere, balcony overlooking the square, convenient location. However, it’s hard to find the front desk and no one came downstairs to help me find my way. They had messaged me more than once to know exactly when I was arriving, and I promptly responded. They knew I’d arrived and still didn’t help. Also the tub leaked onto the room below and two men insisted I open the door and let them inspect. I was on the wrong time and had been sleeping and asked them to go away but they insisted. The door to the hallway showed signs of a break-in, and it was very loud at night.

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The shower was big, very big, and so easy to use. Wish every shower was like that . Terrific location.

Convenient parking, close to the main landmarks, clean room, friendly and helpful staff, elevator was a plus as many times in Europe there are no elevators and carrying bags up for older people is difficult. Room was clean, spaciuos. I would come back

6/10 Good

The property was spacious with a lot of character as expected being a 200 hundred year old palace. The staff was truly great and helpful. Ms. Oriana and Mr. Massimo (the owner) went beyond the limits to make our stay comfortable. The only draw back was that we felt security around the property could be improved. That being said as long as you are vigilant and carry all necessary documents and house keys with you, your stay should be very enjoyable.

Very spacious suite in an EXCELLENT location. Comfortable beds and well air conditioned, which we appreciated. I really appreciated the communication in advance of our stay and the hotel making sure we were able to leave the property early in the morning. Check in process was easy and staff was very accommodating. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend for families traveling to Catania.
