For a 2 star inn, this was a nice place. Rooms had obviously been renovated recently, beds were memory foam, microwave, large mini fridge, nice bathroom, very clean! No problems with parking and close to stores and shops. We went to a race at Laguna Seca (20 min drive), downtown Monterey, and Carmel - all very convenient from this location. Slight con is that it's very close to the airport so you can hear planes flying overhead. We would still stay again!

We stayed in one of the cottages. It was convenient for access to tourist spots in Monterey. No frills whatsoever but it was clean. The kitchen in the cottage was very convenient for my family and had basic utensils, toaster, etc. A few things could use a bit of maintenance such as a wiggly faucet and loose handle in the shower, and paint touch-ups all over but everything functioned. Also both bedrooms were, oddly, missing bedside lamps, which was annoying at night. Overall pretty good and we would stay again.
