Very quiet and peaceful. Delicious breakfast with hot and cold items, fresh fruit, coffee, juice and a barista for made to order drinks. Be sure to check about restaurant hours. They were closed on the days we were there so we went to a couple of local nearby. Wine tasting was a fun feature and the grounds are beautiful. Check in, check out, and parking was very easy even with a wedding party on site. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast overlooking the pool was wonderful, and the grounds were a treat to walk around. We didn’t do a wine tasting, but I can imagine how beautiful the property must be in the fall. I would happily stay here again. The only reason for four stars instead of five was the noise from the room above us. I expected some creaking from an older property—that is part of its charm—but the sound carried much more than expected, and we could hear the guests above us quite loudly throughout the night. Next time, I would request a room on the top floor.

My husband and I spent 3 days at the Wedmore Place, located on Williamsburg 400 acre winery, while we toured the Historic Triangle: Williamsburg, Jamestown, & Yorktown. The Wedmore was a great location and peaceful to return to each evening after a busy day of touring sites. It was a nice change of pace from a regular hotel with a European atmosphere.
