I booked via expedia but when i arrived at the hotel the clerk said that they didnโ€™t received my reservation. But the expedia already taken our payment first. But the hotelclerk said they donโ€™t accept the reservation from expedia. So i paid again for the room. Imagine i arrived there at night and i was exhausted and need to rest.

Cheap motel, convenient to Sokcho Beach and Seorak

We arrived late Friday night by bus from Seoul. The motel is located just a few minutes' walk from Sokcho Express Bus Terminal. Check-in was easy, and the room was dated but well-equipped and clean. There are many small Korean restaurants located around the bus terminal, so finding something to eat is no problem. Also, Sokcho city buses 7 and 7-1 take you to Seoraksan National Park in about 20 minutes, so if you intend on hiking, this motel is not a bad place to stay. One drawback- our nonsmoking room came with an ashtray ans smelled smoky, so if you're sensitive to that, perhaps look elsewhere. Overall, a decent place to stay given how cheap their rates are!
