When we arrived two guys helped us figure out our bus travel the following day. The garden and pool are beautiful. There is a supermarket within walking distance. If you are going to the Obidos Castle, this is a great location. Short walk to the castle walls and village. This hotel had a wonderful free breakfast with eggs, meats, fruit, and pastries. We'd definitely recommend this place. Staff was really nice.

It was fine. Small room with double bed but all we needed for one night stay in Obidos. It was a short walk to the walled city so no need to pay for parking at the walled city entrance - at least the end of October. Monday and/or Tuesday nights some of the nearby restaurants were closed unfortunately.
Street Parking in front of the hotel or in the lot next to the hotel was a great benefit.

Good stay

The hotel is very well placed for a visit to Obidos. The parking is very good but accessed via a steep slope. The staff very helpful. The room small and very '70's in decor but everything worked. Only disappointment was what should have been an excellent breakfast spoilt by catering staff. A party of walkers went at 8am and obviously enjoyed their breakfast. Between 9 and 10am about 25 people came into the room to find nothing had been replenished. A Portuguese speaker asked for more cooked food and a very small amount was then cooked, there was not enough for all. We had to ask for tea bags and the cereal bread etc was not kept stocked.

Hotel Louro is within walking distance of old town Óbidos. There’s free parking in their own private lot and on street parking right in front of the hotel. Lovely backyard with views. Nice buffet breakfast.
