Cool place and reasonable price. There's absolutely no staff onsite which I was weirded out about but that just me. Great black out curtains.

10/10 Exceptional

The room was warm and comfortable. Access to major routes was easy and free parking in the close neighbourhood. There were three supermarkets within easy walking distance and a very good food court close by.
Mark, 20-night trip

Very basic simple hotel room with no facilities. Was clean, and check-in was efficient. Quiet place, but surroundings are ordinary.
Guy, 4-night trip

Easy check in process, no one on property. Parking could be more availability! Other than that had a lovely stay and would stay again.

Easy check-in, clean hotel, nice bathroom.

Nice hotel, no reception. Use code in door and room.Easy and no time wasted in queue. Prompt answers when contacted. No cleaning during the stay, as announced. Possible to pay for extra towels, cleaning and breakfast.

10/10 Exceptional

Clean, simple, comfortable rooms - perfect if you are on the go traveler and just want a clean quiet place to sleep. About 10 minutes walk to the main activity area of town - straight down the street. Right by a grocery store and a healthy restaurant called Loving Hut. I was hesitant about not having a live front desk but they respond to emails super fast and the codes worked great. I didn't try the attached restaurant. Note: if you have trouble finding on google maps it was called 22 Hill before.

Nice looking hotel

The room is recently renovated, clean and comfortable. We did have a problem with our code working when we first arrived but we called the phone number (as there is no front desk) and it was resolved. We saw other people having this same issue so it was not a one time issue. Also the TV is very large but it doesn’t get any stations and isn’t a smart tv so it cannot be used at all. Parking was a little bit of an issue as well but we were able to find some free parking across the street from the hotel.
Bailey, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Over a 5 night stay, our room (flanked by a large and active construction site) was never cleaned. With myself and two children, we were never offered fresh towels, coffee was never replenished, and were never relieved of the mounting food waste accumulating in our room. The on-site restaurant claimed no affiliation with the hotel and refused to even lend me a bowl for my child’s cereal. The only time we interacted with actual hotel staff (since check-in is virtual) was when we heard a knock at our door thirty minutes prior to check-out and an attendant proceeded to enter our room without invitation. I would strongly dissuade other travelers from staying at this property. Iceland is incredibly…this hotel is not.
Richard, 5-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Free parking within 3 blocks near the grocery store.
Lynne, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Large rooms and clean although some renovations were occurring in the hotel and no reception staff on hand
Ken, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

You get what you pay for. Self check-in is definitely unique but nothing bad about it. Will stay again!
Alexander, 6-night trip

8/10 Very good

Under construction but it still worked great
Taylor, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

It is a nice place clean and organized. The check in is easy, although there is no reception. But because of the lack of staff I couldn’t get further service. Anyway it worth it a lot comparing the many hotels in Reykjavík
