Nuestra estadía en el Oxford Hotel en Barranquilla fue una de las peores experiencias que hemos tenido. Desde la llegada, la atención fue deficiente: la recepcionista fue poco amable, no nos dio la bienvenida y nadie ayudó con las maletas. Habia un gato callejero en el sofa del lobby. El hotel está viejo, necesita remodelación; tenía olor a humedad y lobby, comedor y pasillos no tenían aire acondicionado. Por su estado, preferimos no recibir visitas. La habitación del tercer piso tenía varios problemas. Vimos trabajos de remodelación en otras habitaciones de ese piso. El ruido y los olores químicos de los arreglos dificultaban descansar. El baño no tenía jabón, champú, crema ni secador; no los solicitamos ni nos fueron ofrecidos. No vimos señales visibles de limpieza y desinfección del inodoro antes de nuestra llegada. El lavamanos tenía poca presión, la caneca estaba oxidada, solo había agua fría y las toallas estaban deterioradas. El aire acondicionado comenzó a gotear y tuvimos que secar el charco nosotros mismos. La puerta del clóset chocaba con el aire acondicionado, inutilizando parte del clóset. El desayuno no fue buffet y muy limitado sin variedad de comidas tipicas de la Costa Caribe. El servicio fue malo, salvo el empleado nocturno, que fue amable. Tampoco nos ofrecieron información ni clave de Wi-Fi. Lo único positivo fue la ubicación, conveniente para nuestras necesidades. No compensa todas las deficiencias. No recomendamos este hotel y no volveríamos.

El baño y el cuarto súper limpios, a mi novia le encantó la cama, súper cómoda, y la atención fue satisfactoria, el desayuno nos gustó y todo estuvo bien en general, sin embargo no pudimos poner Amazon Prime/Netflix/Disney+ porque hubo un problema con el internet, a pesar de que en nuestros teléfonos funcionaba perfecto; en recepción al hacer el check-in me pidieron documento de identidad, les pasé mi permiso de residencia (soy venezolano) y las recepcionistas se pusieron a hablar entre ellas, le tomaron fotos a mi permiso y se pusieron a hacer preguntas, entiendo las medidas de seguridad, pero de todas maneras fue incómodo. 7/10, vamos a volver pero no muy pronto, si arreglan el internet y los televisores lo subiría a 8.5

El hotel no cogio mi reserva. Hoteles.com nunca me confirmo el hotel de reemplazo. Me pasaron para un hotel de menor categoría y el costo fue altísimo vs lo q hubiera costado hablando directo con el hotel. Pues no el Oxford ni hoteles.com volverán a ser una opción para mi y mis conocidos
