Superb hotel along the sea front

Very nice hotel on the sea front. Our room was comfortable and we had a balcony. They managed to fit us in the restaurant, even though it was late and they were fully booked. We had been travelling all day from England. The food was a little pretentious for our taste, but the wine was excellent.

Super beachside location

The hotel is in a superb position at the centre of Chatelaillon-Plage. Our Superieure room on the 2nd floor faced the sea and was quiet and comfortable. There is a large public car park about 300m away, or parking in adjacent streets. Parking is free outside July and August. Breakfast was good, with a range of bread, baked goods, savouries, etc., although the fresh fruit selection was uninspired. The carpet in our room was quite marked, but otherwise all was in good condition.

The room was very tired and dirty. The carpet was filthy and very stained. The toilet seat was yellow and sticky and previous occupants urine stains on the rim of the toilet bowl. My husband had to wipe the toilet rim and seat before we could use it. Disgusting. When we complained to the manager he shook his head and sent the young receptionist to speak to us. We asked to move rooms but they advised that the hotel was fully booked. We therefore checked out the following morning.

Séjour tres agréable. Petit bémol, la clim est bruyante,mais très utile en ce moment. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, mais je trouve dommage qu'il n'y ait presque pas de fruits, et surtout pas de fruit de saison. Par contre un grand choix de jus de fruits. La vue est superbe, même sans les chambres avec vue sur la rue, on voit la mer. En plus c'est très calme. J'avais un peu peur avec la fête foraine qui n'est pas loin, mais on n'entend rien. J'y retournerai et je recommande.

Nous avons passé 1 semaine dans cet hôtel dans une chambre avec la vue sur la mer. Le personnel est disponible. L’équipement est correct pour 3 étoiles et c’est bien insonorisé. L’emplacement est top surtout avec 2 restaurants en bas. La poussière et la propreté des serviettes en revanche c’est a revoir. Et le petit déjeuner est trop cher (17.5€) sans les produits chauds (oeuf brouillé etc..) avec un service trop lent…
