Disappointing

This is not a scandic hotel, it’s a basic motel at a scandic price. Only the main building is beautiful. Rooms avec basic. There is a bed and that’s it. The breakfast is basic as well. Not even a pastry.

Hotel was fine but there were two problems: 1. There was only one person handling check-in and there was a long line (especially because one customer kept harassing the lone staff member). Add some staff! 2. The chimney in the main area is not working! There was smoke going everywhere and I can only assume all smoke detectors have been turned off.

Hotellet ligger utenfor Honningsvåg "sentrum", på vei mot Nordkapp. Rolig område, god parkeringsplass. Hyggelig betjening som ga oss gratis lading av elbil (over natta - ikke hurtoiglader). Enormt svær frokostsal med bra utvalg. Rommene bærer litt preg av å være noen år gamle, men var i forholdsvis god stand, rent og pent. God seng. Savnet kanskje en hyggelig bar å ta en drink i eller noe sånt - men ikke noe stort problem:)

Das Scandic Nordkapp ist eine sehr einfache Unterkunft, die sich vor allem durch ihre Nähe zum Nordkap auszeichnet. Man sollte hier keinen besonderen Komfort oder ein modernes Hotel erwarten – die Zimmer sind schlicht und funktional. Unser Zimmer wirkte eher kühl und wenig gemütlich. Das Frühstück war okay, das Personal war freundlich. Insgesamt ist das Hotel eine praktische Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, wenn man hauptsächlich wegen des Nordkaps hier ist und keine hohen Ansprüche an die Unterkunft stellt.

Absolut inte värt priset vi betalade. Har bott på många Scandic hotell och detta var den sämsta och dyraste. Kändes mer som ett vandrarhem. Stanken i rummet var kväljande. Personalen titta på detta vid ankomst och bara konstaterade att, ja det luktar illa men kunde inte göra något annat en skapa ett tvärdrag i rummet. Då det var 8 grader ute så ja, det blev väldigt kallt!! ”Hotellet ” var fullbokat så dem kunde inte ge oss något annat rum. Läget för resmålet var perfekt, varför vi valde detta hotell för våran resa. Frukosten var helt okej. Själva frukostsalen var som en skolmatsal med långa bord, inte alls mysigt. Hela konceptet verkade vara uppbyggt runt alla bussresenärer från när och fjärran. Personalen pratade enbart engelska, Beklagar Scandic men långt ifrån värt kostnaden!
