Very clean! Was nervous to stay in an “Inn” but it felt like a normal hotel!
Allison, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Contactless check-in which I hate. Not what I expected or was led to believe from website. Place is more like a drive up motel. The river from our”river view room” is practically invisible. The room is adequate but a bit shabby. Nothing nearby. Just a highway.

This is not an Inn - this is an old motel with mixed old used motel furniture. Had a 2 night reservation and had to leave a day early and they would not refund second night - offered a future 1 night credit but we declined offer.

Very comfortable and great location. Friendly and easy to work with!

Cute little place, close to town. We would definitely stay there again!

Several excellent stays here

I have stayed here several times in recent years. The relatively recently upgraded rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff has always been pleasant and helpful, the cost reasonable, and the location conveniently close to the center of Peterborough, with restaurants, stores, etc. Available breakfast is modest.

Pleasant facility within proximity of excellent hiking. Excellent staff. Would stay again.

Noisy

We had a first floor room at the street end so we heard traffic and worse the people in the room above us ( voices and footsteps). Too expensive

Rooms have been renovated and very clean. Comfortable beds.
Debra, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The inn is tight on the river and very close to quaint downtown Peterborough. Lovely
Claire, 4-night trip

Best place to stay

Most comfortable bed ever! Faux down pillows especially nice, not hard foam like some hotels. Bed felt very luxurious. Best place to stay in Peterborough.
Caron, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We came to this area to do a hike at the local mountain. The hotel was conveniently located to where we wanted to be. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. And the quaint little downtown area was within walking distance. Only downside is that due to this being a small town, everything closes very early in the evening.
dawn, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

although the electronic check in check out keyless system works well, it removes the human interaction - and that is a big downside as if anything did go wrong or i needed anything there was no one to go to....

Clean, friendly. Able to walk places easily and safely. Good espresso!

This property is clean and quiet and only 15-20 min drive to Crotched Mt. ski resort. The rooms were recently renovated .
Monica, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

This is an old motel not a "quaint inn". Definitely not a bed -n-breakfast.... breakfast is a granola bar. There is no staff most of the time. Check in is done by leaving an envelope at the desk with your name in it and room number and door code in it (or sending it to your email). Everything was old and pretty damaged. It looked pretty clean and everything worked properly. 4/10 overall

10/10 Exceptional

This stay exceeded my expectations! For the price, you cannot beat this place. The staff were incredible, super friendly and gave really good recommendations for local stops. This place is close by to a lot of restaurants and cool places to visit. We stayed in room 201, it was super clean, spacious, and seemed very up to date. Probably the nicest shower I've ever seen in a motel. Would definitely stay here again when I return to the area!

Business

The cleanliness was outstanding and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The check in process was seamless. I would definitely recommend Riverhouse by Weekender and stay there again.

Was not expecting a very dated “road side” motel. Check in/out was online . Would have never known that there was employees there if I hadn’t seen the cleaning lady.
Arthur, 1-night trip

Renee was super friendly and very helpful. The property itself could use an upgrade but the room was incredible. The room was huge, the ac was working perfectly, big TV and incredibly comfortable bed. I would absolutely come back again. Loved it. I think the price was a bit high for the area.

Great little hideaway

I got thhr king room woth the river view. Now im not always the brightest..bc i booked this amazing view and i didnt check in til after dark basically. But i did enjoy opening the two large windows to the river which was 10 feet away and the river bank was about 4ft off the building. Great view. U can hear it. And the check in process was si.ple..but again..i struggled a d they were suler easy going..made it go away for me ( technical issues or operator error...wirh login for registration ) and overall made me feel less spastic so thank you to whom ever took my call april 17 2025 around 745pm ish lol

I only spent one night while travelling through the area and everything went smoothly. It was a frigid night so I was very happy when I walked into a warm, clean and cozy room. Breakfast treats in the main office at checkout in the morning were also a welcome sight. Tea/coffee, fruit, cereal, yogurt and energy bars were available. *And did I say it was very quiet so I slept soundly !!
