A disgusto.

I like the place. It has all I need for a stay in playa de Carmen. A microwave, bed, aircon and a nice bathroom. It's 6 blocks from the beach and near the pedestrian street where the restaurants and stores are

The staff were very friendly and the place was very clean. There are 3 pools on the property, one on the bottom, one on the roof, and one on the 4th floor. Upon arrival we met with the reception who didnt have very good english. This is expected as it is Mexico, so we ended up using Google Translate and getting our room just fine. The cleaning staff were amazing. Offering to clean our room every day, doing the dishes and neatly organizing our stuff, but not in the way where it was too invasive. The only gripe I had was that the breakfast at the hotel isnt very good. It includes coffee, a pastry, and some toast. However, it was very cheap at the price of $35MXN (~$2 USD) This place is a very affordable option for PDC and I definitely recommend staying here.
