The owner on-site was kind and helpful! The location was convenient and centrally located. We used the beach chairs, umbrella and float at the beach which was just steps away! We also used the complementary bikes to cruise around the area. The room had everything needed for our stay with fresh towels provided each morning. The hotel and area were both dog friendly. Will definitely be returning!

We had an amazing time at Sabal Palms. It’s conveniently located just steps from the water. So close that if we had to use the bathroom…we would just walk back to our room. It’s great that they had parking and are able to park anywhere at Pass-A-Grille by your license plate. Highly recommend!

Not only was the room excellent but the hotel grounds were immaculate including the heated pool. The staff was really friendly and responsive to questions about laundry and parking. They even did my laundry for me! We will be back ASAP! ❤️

Perfect location!!!!!

Perfect location. Right across the the street from the beach, a couple a blocks from all the restaurants. We stayed for the weekend and didnt have to use our car at all. The room was perfect for 2 people. Bed was comfortable, room was very clean. The beach right across the street was perfect. No waves, clear water and the sunset was amazing!! We will definitely be coming back!!

Pros: This location is steps away from the beach, and it’s not crowded at all! Chairs are available on a first-come first-serve basis, and some were available every time we needed them. The heated pool/spa was really nice to have. This is very close to great restaurants like Cafe Riviera and Paradise Grille. Cons: The room wasn’t very clean. We had to ask for a change in pillowcases upon arrival because there were stains on every pillowcase. The housekeeping guy replaced them and made a comment that he only saw 1 stain. The shower was very dirty but after the comment about the pillowcases, I didn’t want to ask about the shower. We ended up going to Walmart and buying cleaning supplies. I understand having a place right next to the beach means sand is going to be everywhere, but it didn’t look like the shower was scrubbed at all. The deadbolt doesn’t lock and having just the handle lock didn’t feel super secure. The bathroom is very humid even without running the shower. Be prepared to not have any countertop space as the sink is just a pedestal sink, and the bathroom is very close quarters. We ended up using the kitchen table for toiletries. All in all, while the proximity to the beach is fantastic, I personally don’t think the cost per night is worth it considering there isn’t a whole lot to do in Pass-a-Grille.

Things I loved about staying at Sabal Palm- the proximity to the beach, kindness of staff, bikes, beach supplies- chairs, umbrellas, etc., having a laundry facility, and proximity to other beaches and restaurants. Things not so top notch- bath towels- hand towels- washcloths dingy white and warn out. These really should be replaced. After first two days, washcloths were not replaced with fresh towels.(nit picky I know.) Some of the walls had stain marks - could use a Mr Clean sponge. The pictures in the bathroom had a film of old dust - not wiped down as a part of bathroom cleaning. There was dirt behind the bathroom faucet- stayed there the entire trip. A bit more attention to detail in cleaning would go a long way.

Our first time at the Sabal Palms. It was very nice and the service was excellent. Clean towels everyday and would even do cleaning but since we had our dog we opted out of the cleaning. Nice refrigerator and stove. Provided coffee and condiments for coffee. Beds were comfy. The room was very clean. I can say the bathroom door would stick and you may want to caulk along the bathtub. Also I thought we were getting a 5 person suite which was shown on our reservation but we did not get room that was shown on line. HOWEVER we were fine we with accommodations. I will go back. Staff was also super friendly and attentive.

Location is excellent -- right across from the beach. But the accomodation was extremely disappointing. The picture on the Hotel.com site of the room was nothing like the one we got. There was no way we could put 4 people in it --we were fortunate one in our party dropped out. The unit was very old -- nothing had been updated and it was very cramped. It was clean, though, which helped. I can't really recommend this place based on our experience.

Great old Florida, family run property. The rooms are renovated and very clean. We stayed in #5. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom. The second room with a kitchenette and pullout couch area is a little small if 2 more are staying in there also but it’s very functional. The room is Ideal for 2-3 adults or 2 adult and 1 child/2 small children. We loved the little pool and direct access to the beach across the street. I also loved the free parking, which applies throughout pass-a-grille, not just at the hotel.
