The reviews of this hotel need to be kicked down a few notches. I should've stayed at the Days Inn right next to it.
They need to PRE-VENTILATE the room for guests, open the windows and run the fans. My room smelt like disinfectant, hair conditioner fragrance, and mustyness. I opened the window, ran the bathroom fan, and ran the ac wall unit fan but I still had that smell in my hoodie for six hours the next day. I don't want to think about what it did to my lungs and body.
Speaking of AIR, I was greeted with a chemical fragrance in a small entry corridor immediately upon entering the hotel. I could see an "air wick" or something similar plugged into the wall... disgusting.
The curved shower curtain rod in my room was broken from it's wall mounts. So the curtain kept sliding down to the middle section leaving the ends of the shower tub exposed.
The drain in the tub was corroded and rusted. The bathtub spout and valve wiggled together when turning on the shower like they're not properly mounted to the tub. There's cigarette burns on the tub.
The toilet paper holder was loose from the wall.
The room had a depressed , 2 inch lower section in the floor that was just covered over with the carpeting.
The sheets were (probably)clean and didn't reek of laundry fragrance. The bed was comfortable. I had to close my room window, unfortunately because someone could walk right up to it and easily climb in from a side of the hotel that is just an unkempt field..
