Great Location Isn't Enough

The location is excellent but the hotel is tired. The balcony was scary - dirty and rusted. I wouldn't even open it. The view was of decaying buildings. The breakfast wasn't good. But the staff was very nice.

Expect what you booked

The hotel is old and not remodeled. When I walked into our room, it was really hot and humid. Same for the hallway, but the front desk area was cool. The toilet in our room wasn’t work when we arrived at 3am. The sink knob fell off when I turned it. We didn’t bother to call the front desk because we didn’t speak Portuguese. However, the front desk and cook for the hotel was nice.

The proporty is nothing like its opctures. The place is run down, in need of serious reform with mildewy smell, agging worn out mattresses, a tiny rv set too high to watch it. I could onlt stay 1 night before I gad to leave.

The reviews I read were correct, the hallway and the room had a really strong urine smell. I tried to ignore that, but once I got to bed the pillows had a strong sweat smell like that they hadn't change the pillow cases in a long time. I went downstairs and got a new set of blankets and pillow cases and tried to spend the night there and look for another hotel next morning. I wasn't able to stay there more than 2 hours, the smell was way too strong, I went downstairs and ask for a refund and I had paid 5 days in advance. Once I got the refund back I was out of there as soon as possible. PS. My friend got his room across the hallway and had the same issue, we both moved out.

Hotel bom, bem localizado e limpo. As camareiras são ótimas, em especial dona Ivana (não recordo se seu nome era esse, se não, era algo semelhante), a qual foi super prestativa, um amor de pessoa. Café da manhã bom, mas todos os dias servem as mesmas coisas e as opções são limitadas. Senti falta de comidas típicas e mais variedade de alimentos. Os rapazes da recepção deixaram um pouco a desejar. Recomento se for passar poucos dias.

O hotel é antigo, podendo ser observada alguma reforma com revestimentos de baixa qualidade, principalmente nos banheiros. A localização é bem proxima do Teatro Amazonas, mas na saida do hotel fica sempre muito lixo acumulado. Café da manhã bom, mas poderia ter variações nos dias da semana, considerando uma estadia mais longa. As moças do cafe, muito atenciosas. Ficamos em dois períodos no hotel,no primeiro quarto, o chuveiro nao esquentava e no segundo quarto, a agua fria so pingava. Mas, considerando o custo beneficio e ficarmos pouco no hotel, foi tudo ok.

Então, chegamos no hotel e não estava minha reserva no sistema do hotel, que foi reservada no hotel. Com a três meses ficamos esperando na recepção 6 horas e depois do horário do chekim fomos perguntar ao o recepcionista falou q tinha esquecido da gente péssima administração
