It was a really comfortable stay. Once we got the room warm it was like a sanctuary from the awful damp drizzly weather outside.

8/10 Very good

Lovely b&b with outdoor pool Well maintained clean pool we had to ourselves for most of the stay. Large bedroom attached to the house. It didn't feel very private with our back door leading out onto the owners outdoor dining area as well as our toilet window right next to where they are eating their meals outdoors! Nice clean bathroom but shower pressure was poor not suitable for washing long hair! Gardens were lovely with seating areas dotted around , but looks like they needed a little maintenance. The outdoor furniture had bird poo and dirt on them. Delicious breakfast with cereals fruit yoghurt and a lovely homemade cooked breakfast. Host was nice.

Fab accommodation to explore south downs

Magpies is a homely accommodation to explore South Downs. Me and my wife had a lovely stay over the may bank holiday weekend. Jane’s hospitality was fantastic during our stay. Would love to stay again when travelling to west sussex area.

Such a relaxing place to stay. Room overlooked garden and was so cosy with comfy sofa and bed. 2 glasses and small decanter of sherry was awaiting us on arriving along with bowl of sweeties. Lovely touch. Tea coffee making facilities with milk and water in fridge. Powerful shower in the en-suite. Breakfast next morning was plentiful and delicious

A wonderful B&B, Jane and Kevin really attentive hosts, room modern with a vintage twist, clean and ample space, with own bathroom and toilet there was even a rest area with sofas outside our room and plenty of board games to use. Breakfast was excellent and surprisingly all included in the price quoted. Outdoor heated pool an added bonus used it every day for as great. Would recommend.
