I Hated This Hotel

Underwhelmed from the moment I arrived.  The photos are 5 times better then the property.  The landscape,  rooms, location  and staff are underwhelming to say the least. When I booked this hotel was twice the price of most of the hotels. I was expecting something luxurious. This hotel isn't luxurious. If you come as a foreign tourist from a developed country you will be disappointed in what I would rate an upscale motel. Not a hotel or resort.  I paid twice the price of the average hotel on the island only to wish I had booked a cheaper one. If you are coming as a couple you will be disappointed. If come looking for fun you will be disappointed. If come looking for a place for kids to run around this is the place. The one thing I will say is if you love kids or have kids this place might fit your needs. There are tons of kids running around and in the pool. The hotel has a lot of kid activities. Other then that's I would suggest any foreign tourist avoid this property. The lawn and grounds aren't particularly beautiful or well landscaped. Dead grass in lots of area and no flowers. Really its just not nice. The beach is nothing spectacular or anything to rave about.  I saw much nicer beaches on the way to the property. The property is isolated and hard to find. It would be nice if they could have sent some pre checkin advice or shuttle info or had a information area at the boat landing.

Recepção bem protocolar, zero simpatia, mas ágil. Equipe do hotel, no geral, também não muito prestativa, com exceção da equipe que deu suporte à praia. O hotel e o quarto estavam limpos, mas precisam de manutenção. A nossa descarga estava fazendo um barulho tão alto que era impossível acioná-la durante a noite sem acordar as demais pessoas hospedadas no nosso quarto. No último dia, entupiu. As cervejas estavam sempre geladas, entretanto os drinks estavam bem fracos, vinham constantemente com uma dose reduzida da bebida em questão e muito gelo, bem decepcionante. O ponto negativo que mais me chamou a atenção foi o fato de o hotel, que atrai muitas famílias com crianças, não dispor de um guarda-vidas na piscina, contando inclusive com um alerta de que os usuários devem usar a piscina “sob sua responsabilidade”. Acredito que tal fato represente até uma infração às normas de segurança estipuladas pelo Corpo de Bombeiros.

Excelente resort, com infraestrutura gigante nos espaços comuns. A quarta praia fica, praticamente exclusiva para o hotel. Café da manhã com muita variedade. Os quartos tem uma estrutura interna ainda antiga, mas atende bem, são muito espaçosos. Tivemos um problema com o chuveiro elétrico que foi resolvido pela equipe de manutenção.

Os quartos são amplos e confortáveis, com destaque para o varal na varanda dos apartamentos! item de extrema importância numa estadia de piscina e praia.
