Fantastic location. Room itself was dingy, lots of nooks and crannies that were dusty. Paint was fading as well. Could just be maintained better. The shower/toilet room is all one with a small glass divider between them.. the entire floor is wet after a shower. Rain showerhead was good. Shower and skin amenities smell not so great and aren't the easiest to get off. From what it looked like, most rooms and their windows face the interior courtyard of the hotel and everything echoes. You can hear voices from other floors and nearby rooms. With the amount of wood and cement used, sound doesn't get dampened anywhere. Doors clang shut due to the locking mechanism.. that and people walking by the room will wake you up through the night. Patio on the roof is nice, and there's a small coworking area on the ground floor.

Great location! Very Safe. Excellent cafe, bakery, grocery, street vendors right out the front door. Water pressure was good, and beds comfy. We slept well all 3 nights! The front desk girls were helpful and friendly. The decor and room set up is kind of funky/modern, but overall we enjoyed our stay. I would stay again, given the price and location. But it is not luxurious by any stretch.

The room is very clean. I didn't give the Hotel 5 stars because I would personally like the bathroom tiles and walls to get an extra wash. The breakfast was ok. It is served on the rooftop. They had scrambled eggs, beans, Chilaquiles, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice. I would skip it and buy breakfast at a cute cafe. The air conditioner worked well. I wish we could open a window, but they are locked closed. They gift 2 small water bottles every time they clean the room. Loved that they left extra toilet paper and towels.
