I have extremely mixed feelings about this stay. The room was very nice, very clean, and the staff was super helpful and kind. Food in the pub is excellent! However there is one giant caveat - we booked this stay to sleep and because of the noise from the pub which lasts well after the stated closing time there was very little actual sleep. Such a shame because the rooms themselves and the provided continental breakfast is great.

Another lovely stay in this fabulous pub. Our double room was spotless. Well decorated and some nice little touches inc the well stocked tea/coffee tray. Great location and views to the rear from the beer garden are spectacular. Can’t wait to return soon. Staff so friendly and welcoming too.

The quintessential British country Inn and pub. We enjoyed our one night stay, and had a delicious meal and socialized with the locals. We enjoyed cocktails in the beautiful outdoor beer garden prior to our dinner. The room we stayed was impeccably clean, and had a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely place and good value for money.

It was exactly what I needed. However, it has thin walls, and I could hear the people in the pub downstairs watching the Euros and also the television in the room next door. The beds have a wooden end at the feet, which can be an issue for tall people (180cm). It has a garden with a great view.
