Wrong room type was assigned to us - not enough beds so it took time to correct it. Julia at the front desk was new to the job, but very kind and did her best to correct the situation for us. Leather seats in the lobby were in bad shape, and all the plants were dead.
Once we got the correct room we had reserved, we had to kill 12-15 stink bugs that were on the curtains, counters, and walls. No option to go to another hotel for the night.
We would NOT sit in the lounge chair - it was grossly dirty. Arm was broke off the desk chair which had been glued on previously. Water damage to the ceiling. Broken clothes hangers. Beds were clean and comfortable, which was all we needed for one night, although there were bleach stains on the printed bedspreads. Not enough towels in the room. No sense reporting all of this to the front desk, as Julia was already handling multiple issues all by herself and calling the owners to walk her through problems. Owners did not attempt to come back to help her.
We're not fussy travelers, so as long as we had clean beds for the night and a place to freshen up, we're good, but next time I have to kill multiple flying bugs in the room I will opt to sleep in my car instead.
