The Sydney was a very quaint and nice B&B, convenient to everything in Edgartown, walk to restaurants, stores, etc. The staff, in particular Angela and Alex were friendly and so helpful to us learning about the island, places to see, etc. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as well and the afternoon chocolate chip cookies. :) I would definitely recommend the Sydney as a place to stay on Martha's Vineyard, especially if looking in Edgartown. Lovely inn, and lovely island to visit and explore.

The breakfast is billed as “continental,” but it includes hard-boiled eggs, prosciutto, cherry tomatoes and two kinds of cheese, as well as fruit, croissants and muffins. If, like me, you have to stay on business, fresh coffee is available around the clock. If, like me, you haven’t been to Martha’s Vineyard since the 1980s, staff is friendly and knowledgeable about where to go and how long it will take to get there.
