Great location, short walk to Van Gogh/Rijksmuseum/transportation stops(bus/tram); Helpful staff; great breakfast ( extra price but reasonable); its an older hotel, some wear, but clean and inviting. Would stay again!

We had an excellent stay at the owl hotel. Centrally located, was a great spot for heading to the art museums.

8/10 Very good

Overall our stay was wonderful. The room was clean, staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast very good. It’s only a short walk to food and shopping which is why the hotel area is quiet. However some updating is in order and expected given the current rates which are somewhat inflated.

10/10 Exceptional

The breakfast for extra fee was well worth it, not easy to find other restaurants near by. Had a lift and staff willing to help with luggage. It was warm, but a fan was provided to cool room, no a/c. Great location to museums, trams and shops. Would definitely stay again. Staff very helpful and kind.

The Owl Hotel is a delightful, cozy, and well located hotel. The reception desk is manned 24-7 and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Owl theme decor was fun and Basel the cat was the best amenity. The hotel is in an older building and has its idiosyncrasies, but suited our family quite well for our time in Amsterdam.

A wonderful surprise, this boutique hotel was a great place to stay while visiting Amsterdam. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms cozy and comfortable after a day on the town. It was quiet, good for a nap while recovering from jet lag. The location is great, close to interesting streets of restaurants, the main museums and the trams for visiting the rest of Amsterdam.

Wonderful staff and the hotel is located within walking distance of everything that you would want (food, bar, tourist attractions). The morning breakfast was very good! Our trip was during an unexpected heatwave at the hotel, which does not include air conditioning, however, the hotel included a fan which was very nice and helped us enjoy our trip. I would go back again.

8/10 Very good

Friendly staff, especially the guy with nice sense of humour and very welcoming. Room was clean, they changed the towels everyday (there’s no need for that btw). Nice selection of tv channels with Viaplay. It’s an old building so one could hear people in the hallway. Didn’t take breakfast. Only thing a bit awkward for me was to have to leave the key at the reception whenever going out. Even though a 24/7 open reception, it takes away a bit of the feeling of freedom.
