Our Stay

The room at the inn was clean and presentable. The closed caption feature on the TV and/or remote controller did not work as designed and it was very late for us to report it to the office. Where we stayed, one of several construction utility trucks doubled parked in the front of the unit where we stayed so we had to park our car elsewhere on the premise a little far. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for a reasonable price.

Room was clean and spacious. Property is old but well maintained. Only two negative issues; there was no mirror in the bathroom or anywhere else in the room. The only rooms that had a King bed as we requested were on the second floor and there is no elevator. The stairs are steep and handrails extremely low. With arthritis and a knee replacement the trips up and down the stairs were excruciating. We would definitely stay again if there were a ground floor room available.

For a budget motel, the facilities were nice, restaurants were in easy walking distance, and the facilities for the disabled truly outstanding. Unfortunately, the bathroom counters were filthy, the bedroom floor crunchy with ramen noodles. If my housekeeper ever left my apartment in such a condition I'd fire her on the spot. But it was over Christmas, so maybe they were short staffed, or the maid service distracted. Good place for a tight budget, I'd even recommend it IF they cleaned better.

The room was nice and clean as was the restroom. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind. I really don't have anything bad to say - we were there to attend a concert at the Ventura Music Hall and were able to walk to and form it safely. Nice little economy option for the area!

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was dirty, the doorman was missing where the security lock should have been, the bathroom had ants and was filthy. Before checking out we wanted to shower to start the day and honestly felt dirtier after the shower than going into it. When we tried to tell the gentleman at the front desk about the condition of the room he just kept asking the room number and would not hear what we had to say. They might as well not have had Wi-Fi it was so spotty and if it worked it was super slow.
