The woman who checked us in had an attitude and was not helpful. Once we got past her and got checked in, everything went well. Once her shift was over, the other people at the front desk were much nicer. The gym only has a few treadmills and an elliptical and no weights. It was better than nothing. The property is in a great location in the old part of the Zacatecas City. It's close enough to walk to everything, but just off the main street so it's quiet.

I wish I could give a least one more star. Our room was nice and clean and the staff was wonderful! The property was beautiful! The only downside was the property was under construction at the time. Also there was a weird humming/buzzing sound throughout the night that kept us up. I didn’t mind so much but partner did. Heating and AC worked great.

Door was super narrow, for skinny people cause you have to enter sideways to make it thru door. King mattress very hard, if you spread a blanket on the floor and lay down will be pretty much same feeling. Sink bathroom faucet only dispense very low amount of water. Worst issue was a string HUMIDITY smell in the room, when I mentioned that to bellboy he said: " Yes we had a lot of rain this year ", that was the best he could come up with. I use to live in Zacatecas long ago and when I saw they remodel that old place ( Meson de Jobito ), by looking at the pictures I thought it will be a great idea to stay there but it was actually a bad decision.
