Older property where you can drive up to the door which we prefer on long road trips with a lot of luggage. Restaurant on site was very good. Room was clean and perfect for a one night stay on our way to Cooperstown.

For an older establishment, the room was adequate, clean and comfortable. Cleaning staff was very helpful and friendly. Would book again.

6/10 Good

This is clearly a struggling establishment. There was no one to be found when we initially came to check in and we had to come back. The bed was very comfortable but I paid extra to have the jacuzzi tub so we could soak after our long hike during the day and was extremely disappointed to find it filthy and unusable as it was coated in old soap scum and hair. The food at the restaurant was decent but didn’t quite match up with the information that was offered on the menu on the website so that was also a little disappointing. It was also a bit of a let down that there was no option to speak to anyone upon check out as we had to leave early to get to our next destination and there was no one on staff in the office until 11:30. So while the bed was comfortable and the staff we did encounter were friendly, the filt in the tub ruined the experience for us.

I was very pleased with my stay at Fred's Inn. Our room was clean, quite, and cozy. There was plenty of parking. The food was delicious. The staff at the bar / restaurant were friendly and helpful (we checked in and out with the bartender). This place is truly a hidden gem.

We stayed for 1 night as we were driving through, there was plenty of parking available, we arrived at night the area felt safe. The bed was soooo comfortable! We are bed snobs and typically only like Hilton beds, this had a bed with the comfort level of Hilton. We would definitely stay again!

It’s hard to find a good hotel in a smaller town sometimes but Fred’s inn was great. Clean, easy check in, and they serve food till 9pm if you need it. The stay was perfect and the price reasonable. If I had to go back to that town I would stay there again

The onsite restaurant was very convenient and the quality of the food was "top notch" . The rooms were very quiet considering the proximity to the highway.
