Beautiful location - perfect for staying with your dog, as there is a big field right outside the rooms for it to run around in. Room was very nice. Beds a little on the hard side, but ok. Excellent bathroom - love that they have split it into toilet and bathroom. Good lighting, excellent shower. The staff was very accommodating - my partner wasn't well, so they allowed us to sit in a sideroom in the restaurant by ourselves for dinner - Thank you, we really appreciated that !! Hotel has two car charging points, which came in handy, as it really is out in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast however was a bit disappointing. No "proper" cereal - only what I would call "dessert cereal" (Frosties, Coco-Pops etc). There was no hot water in the hot water urne for tea, so had to wait for it to warm up, before I could have my tea. And some small pots for your jam and marmalade would be nice. Had to stand by the buffet and butter my bread, so I could put the jam on. One little thing - a couple of small rugs by either side of the bed and a door matt by the back door would be a good addition.

We had a late evening booking while travelling with family. The room was booked for 3 persons. 2 adults and 1 child age of 5. Booking was accepted by hotels.com At arrival of the property there was no third bed available for child. Also the beds are single - split. There was no extra blanket or pilow in the room. The pillows are the cheapest foam ones you can find so we recommend to bring hour own if you are sensitive in this topic. The cleanness average due to spots on mirors and toilet doors and floor was dirty. Our socks picked up short animal hair while walking in socks in the room. The room was quite cold 18-19 degrees Celsius in the night and there was no possibility to adjust the temperature. There is only restaurant staff available after 20:00 so their couldn't help due to party that was in the premises. We made it work but definitely not happy and comfortable trough the night... The breakfast is average and only included black coffee/milk and tea. Special coffee is extra. The staff did not change us for the extra bed. Unfortunately this will be our last stay on this hotel and this was our second attempt with the similar results... The only Plus is the amazing view out of the window! Due to the party that night it should have been better that they close the possibility to book rooms or put a warning that the 3 bed in the room has to be ordered prior 20:00.

Virkelig fint hotel i helt spektakulære omgivelser. Midt ude i skovens dybe stille ro. Værelset var meget stor og havde alle nødvendige faciliteter. Sengen var desværre meget hård, og det ødelagde en del af oplevelsen. Personalet i receptionen tale kun meget lidt engelsk, men de var meget søde. Maden i restauranten var udsøgt, men morgenmad var meget basic og kedelig.

Fantastiskt hotell med en utsikt som är enastående. Sängarna var väldigt sköna. Egen liten uteplats med bord och stolar. Hela hotellet är gediget och inga billiga lösningar. Vi kom sent en söndag då det var stängt i receptionen men efter ett samtal så kom dom och gav oss ett rum, följde med och visade. Underbar bastu del. Frukosten hälsosam. 10/10

We spent a lovely night at the fab hotel, which has gorgeous views, comfortable beds, big rooms and a luxurious bathroom. The rooms are built into the hillside which makes for a cool look. The silence and stillness of the surroundings were amazing. We had a room on level two, which had the best views of the settting sun. The restaurant closed at 8 pm, so we missed it, but it looked really great. The next morning we checked out the panoramic viewing tower, lovely views.

Vi fik et super fint værelse med udsigt så langt man kunne se. Meget høj standard. Der ligger også en klasse restaurant i forbindelse med Hotellet, husk at booke bord der, det er godt. Hvis man er til vandretur, er der fine muligheder i Hüttener Berge.
