Our second stay. We had great weather which always helps, but it meant our kids just wanted to get outside to feed the animals or play with the other kids at the playground. These are the reasons we come here.

Staff helpful… new rooms under construction So old rooms don’t have Netflix and tv was hard to use . On saying that staff offered extra discount next visit . Kids loved they had alpacas .

We loved our stay at Hideaway as a family of 4. The rooms were newly renovated and had everything we needed, excellent playground complete with sandpit and trampoline for the kids, as well as the friendly Alpacas we could hand feed right in the backyard. The location was so convenient to Fairy Springs attractions, supermarket and central Rotorua. Thank you for accommodating our little sausage dog too :)

Nice, clean, comfy spacious studio. Great to have a separate sofa area. Pity about the weather which affected the TV reception and we were unable to use the outside seating area.

The room was nice but it was an accessible room which we did not enjoy. We did enjoy feeding the alpacas and sheep.

10/10 Exceptional

The room was a great setup for a family with a separate kids room away from the main living area and bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped. YouTube on the tv was helpful with the kids. Bathroom spotless and nice tub. Alpacas, a sheep and bunnies were on the property and the owner gives you food you can hand feed them. Great playground and grassy area for kids to play on. Really friendly and helpful owner!
