Oak Hostel Zen

Clean hostel and friendly staff. Convenient location. and Wi-Fi connection was good. I lived in the dom and some people made noise at night or early in the morning which was disturbing.

The hostel is clean and well managed. Facilities are good for a comfortable stay. Just the dom's door makes quite a large noise when it closes. It is rather disturbing at night whenever people come in and out. Wifi in the room does not work (not sure if it is location problem) but lobby and kitchen have good connections.

Lobby was so nice but I was quite stunned with smell in the dorm once I opened the door for a very little second. The outside of room was great but the inside should be well maintained. One reason that I would take me there for next stay is only location.

I am quite disappointed for this hostel. When I booked a Shared Female Dormitory, I did not expect I have to share bathroom with men. All Female, Men and Mix Dormitory are on the same floor sharing only 2 bathing room which is clearly not enough. And the staff started cleaning from around 9am despite the check-out time is 10am. I feel really uncomfortable when a male staff walked into the female toilet when I was brushing my teeth and he even did not say anything such as "Excuse me" or "sorry" before came in. He just came in and start washing towers next to me. I understand hostel is about casual and no service, but at least I request some basic manners which is why I will not choose this and their other hostels next time.
