The location was excellent. It was very close to all of the town shops and restaurants. The hotel was okay. It was clean, but very noisy. The floors were vinyl and you could hear other guests upstairs due to thin walls and echoing while walking and talking. The overall property has some age on it which shows from the outside. The rooms were recently remodeled.

This is the most I’ve ever paid for a 3 night hotel stay. Expected a bit more luxurious. The suite was actually quite comfy, beds were great, a good sofa to watch tv which was nice sized, the heater worked well (damp, chilly weather). The bay view from the balcony was nearly non-existent since trees blocked the view. Bathroom was quite small. The stairs were frightening to this senior (no elevator). The building could use a paint job. Overall, overpriced!

The hotel is steps from the amazing clear lake with walk way beside the lake restaurant in same building with coffee shop and gift shop . This is essentially a motel on the lake - not all rooms have full lake views. Ours turned out to be a peak-a-boo view, but was in an alley. The motel itself does not have amenities on the lakeshore. It fronts a public beach and walking trail. There are restaurants and a spa in attached buildings, owned by the same company, but it is not a resort and spa. The name felt misleading. Otherwise, it was clean and in a good location.
