we booked a standard room. the view of the room was the sea. nice sunrise! the room was on 2nd floor. Good things: there is free parking. however it is nearly the yard of hotel and it is not guarded but it is good to have the car in the yard of the hotel for free. the price was good. the restaurant has a fantastic view! also the breakfast is comprehensive and you have alot of options with a very nice staff. the toilets in the room was clean and nearly renovated. there was also travel shampoo for guests. bad things: the room was very basic. there is not any fridge or kettle or anything (maybe in upgraded rooms you can find them.) the room it self was not so clean but it was nearly comparable to the price. hair dryer was working but it was dirty. there is ac in the room but it's power is cut. also there is a radiotor works by central heating. so nearly there is not any option to control the temperature. overall: absolutely comparable to the price. in my opinion based on the free parking, breakfast and view, it worth it. maybe it is worthing to pay a bit more for the upgraded room if you need to stay more than 1 night.

All in all it was a good experience. Nice, clean room with a balcony, swimming pool, good breakfast and friendly staff. However the room was missing a fridge so there was nowhere to keep our water cold. Moreover although the rest of the staff was professional, we had a bad experience with the barman. We asked for ice from the reception and they sent us to the bar. However the barman said that they did not have and refused to give us some (his name is Johan or sth like this). The kind receptionist had to come to bar and us some because the barman seemed not to be in the mood. It is a shame for such a nice 3* hotel, where all the employees were helpful, to have one that does not want to help guests.

You cannot make a first impression twice - the receptionists certainly are not people who make you feel welcome nor are they helpful. No welcome Sir/Madam, can I have you passports - just a grunt and a snort. No welcome water. It is a farce that this hotel is actually a school for Hotel Management lol!! You cannot get a taxi in the morning but the receptionist failed to mention the ease of the train close by, having managed to find a taxi for €50 for less than 2kms. The rooms are dated, bathrooms disgusting, air condition temperamental and dirty, no security on the patio doors, beds and linen cheap and uncomfortable. Be advised the restaurant is a training camp for the school.... breakfast was marred by the fact the smoking area is directly outside the door and thus you have a smell of cigarettes. I could continue but having read previous reviews and seen that the state of the hotel has been like this for a while, the owners and management are not interested.

L'hôtel gransol est un hôtel situé en bord de mer néanmoins malgré une belle vue du balcon sur la mer pour y accéder il y a une barre d'immeuble devant qui surplombe la mer il faut la contourner par de nombreux escaliers pour accéder et encore il y a une voie ferrée qui borde le tout.. La plage situé sur la gauche de l'hôtel est accessible au chien mais il n'y a aucun service au bord de cette plage. Le personnel que ce soit de ménage ,à l'accueil ou en salle de restaurant est très aimable ,sympathique et professionnel, il faut savoir que c'est une école il faut savoir que c'est une école hôtelière. Le restaurant est très bon avec une cuisine moderne et raffinée le petit-déjeuner du matin et copieux. Il est aisé de se garer sur l'arrière de l'hôtel et c'est gratuit. L'hôtel et âgé entretenu mais laisse apparaître son âge car là je suis sûr et au sol dans la chambre mobilier ancien salle de bain vieillotte avec fuite d'eau et robinetterie usée il faut être très souple pour utiliser la baignoire sans se casser la figure pour y accéder. Nous avions une chambre premium avec deux lits jumeaux et un petit frigo par contre le mini frigo était posé simplement au sol par terre à côté du bureau... Il y avait des boissons dedans à disposition eau et soft gratuitement tous les jours. Le gros bémol et qu'il n'y a pas d'isolation vu l'âge de l'hôtel donc on entend tout ce qui se passe que ce soit gens qui parlent dans les chambres à côté ou utilise la salle de bain.
