Great location right in the centre of the old district. However, the room we had looked nothing like the pictures online and the room was very tired and dated. They emptied the bins and provided fresh towels but the beds were not made and the room wasn’t the standard of cleanliness I’m used to.

Excellent location, reasonable price, clean and comfortable rooms, helpful staff (in either English or French). If you want to stay in the old town, close to many of the attractions this is a great choice. Parking is in public lots nearby and it was not hard to park and unload in front of the hotel so if you are driving in, this is a doable location. Easy to get a taxi to/from as well. Not the most fancy place, but if you are looking for refined luxury you can go nextdoor to the hotel in the Chateau Frontenac! Would stay there again.

We rarely saw anyone at the front desk. Our keys were left at the desk when we checked in with a code to get into the hotel. It was late so that was understandable but no one was there when we checked out at 11 AM. The stairs to our rooms were filthy. The Lobby with coffee was not maintained. Beds were comfortable and clean but I had only cold water in my sink and the hair dryer had only cold air.

The hotel is in a fabulous location. Make sure you get the code so you can get in, we arrived early and luckily someone was there to let us stow our bags, that was the last we saw of anyone at reception for our 2 night stay. As other reviews state, the hotel could do with refurbishment. The floor in our room had parts lifting, the fan in the bathroom was very noisy and we could not get the air conditioner on the wall to blow warm air. However, the beds were very comfortable. While there is a breakfast room, the only thing there was a coffee machine and a water machine with no instructions on how to operate either. Our stay was good but I would say that you’re paying for the location.

The location is great. Right in front of Parc des gouverneurs. Parking was convenient just down the street (though pricey). I paid under $70 for about 12 hours. I didn't get to meet the staff but they were very communicative and made my late check in very easy. Would book it again.
