Staff great. Do not be deceived by the outdoor appearance which looks dated. The rooms are very clean; nice bedding and pillows, very simple. Bathroom totally functional. Great value for the price and superb location. I'm very happy I stayed there. And the air conditioning, one of those wall units, was reasonably quiet. Parking easy.

Went with a friend for the Canfield fair, front desk person was very nice, even offering us each a complementary drink to go with the room. The rooms were nice and basic, as long as you don't mind a more low key and old school motel I'd say it's a great choice. The room and beds were clean, and again, for the price it is hard to go wrong. We specifically love the old school vibe of a local small motel so if you're into that, give the place a shot! The soap was the ONLY part I wasn't crazy about, but I usually expect almost all hotel/motel soap to be lackluster so I brought my own. It is fine for hand washing, but a nice lather is lacking in the shower.

Staff were super welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and didn’t have the typical icky hotel smell. There had been a lot of rain recently so it would have been beneficial to have a rug when you walk into the room to keep the floor dry and from getting dirty. A towel by the shower door would have been helpful too. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Overall, for the price, I’d stay there again.

June 2026: If you just need a comfy bed and a good night’s sleep, this is the place. It’s not fussy or fancy, but it’s CLEAN and quiet. It’s a vintage motel right off the highway with gas stations and fast food in walking distance, and Walmart 15 minutes away. We arrived at midnight, and felt safe and welcomed there. It smelled clean when you walked into the room. Bed was firm and the pillow was huge. AC worked perfectly. No coffee in the room, but it’s in the office 24 hours a day, hot and delicious. Clean microwave and mini fridge; no iron or hair dryer though (didn’t need those so it didn’t matter to us). The floors, bathroom, and bedclothes were clean. Laundry room onsite; you can buy detergent in the office. I didn't use the laundry, but I did peek in. It was $4 (I think) to wash; not sure how much to dry. Worth it for the convenience of having it onsite. Staff was nice, friendly, and helpful in answering questions. I would definitely stay there again.
