A nice location to stop when travelling through eastern California. Clean rooms, good air con and a friendly manager. Easy location to access. Whilst it’s a little dated it’s more than comfortable and quiet. It’s a great spot to explore from. I would stay here again and recommend it!

New owner has big plans for the propery and was very, very helpful when it came to accomodating us. The rooms are older, but clean. It's my third time staying here in recent years. It is a welcome respite after hiking for 10 dayus in the Sierra, and he even helped arrange us a ride to the next town. I would stay here again. On-prem avilability of a washer and dryer was quite welcome.

Front office was accommodating when we let them know we'd be arriving late in the evening. Clean, basic rooms. Easy parking. Would come back here and stay again!

We loved our stay. We stayed in the family room. It was clean and super comfortable. A few things needed some upgrading, but very minor and not even worth discussing. Microwave, refrigerator, and very very good air conditioning. And the room was clean. We will definitely stay here again! We were not the only Alpine start, so if you're looking to sleep in, it might get a little noisy in the early morning.

Didn't know we would have to travel 20 iles in either direction for food, you should plan on eating before you stop. New owners and they are trying real hard to provied a good service. Good Place for Very limited options in Independance CA.

This place was perfect! SO CLEAN and the air conditioner was amazing, it was very hot outside, and the unit kept up perfectly. The owners are the nicest people ever, they waited so late for us to come in and made sure that we were comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Don’t let the photos online scare you off, this place is precious, and even as two girls traveling alone, we felt very safe here.

Owners are on site ,and very friendly and helpful. I stayed two nights.I appreciated the super clean room,and the new bedding .The bath room was clean,the shower had good water pressure and hot water.T.V. was large flat screen, wall mounted, which was nice.A/C was great and kept my room comfortable. I will stay here again, when in town to go hiking in the nearby mountain trails.

Very nice gentleman checked us in. I believe he is the owner at least he told me his wife could say he was. Cute little place and reminded me of the places I stayed when I was a kid with my parents. Will stay there again if I travel thru this area. More bathroom products than the major lodging places have. Just a quaint small motel that’s a reminded of how simple things were in the past
