I've stayed here a couple of times. It is definitely a "Motel" atmosphere. This is not a bad thing, and I can really tell the staff do the best they can with what resources they are provided with. It was also the same staff for a few years now. They run it.
When I arrived, after driving 14 plus hours to get there, I really needed to use the washroom facilities. The woman at the front desk showed no sympathy and said there were no washrooms for me to use, and my room was not ready. She did not suggest another place I could use bathroom facilities until I asked her. She left (15mins later) to go pick up her daughter (so I heard from other staff) so I approached the next person who told me my room was ready.
I got a room right by the office, with a microwave and fridge as I paid for. The original staff made it seem like I was not going to get one.
I recommended if you're wanting less noise do not stay in a room near the check in office. It wasn't the traffic of customers that was surprising loud, it was the fact that the staff door was slammed every time it was used,
I appreciate the stay, and it could be worse, but it could also be better. Thanks!
