Basic motel but has pretty much everything you need. It's clean, has a decent shower with excellent hot water and power, microwave, hob, smart tv with sky tv (including nearly all of the channels), aircon is quiet and a couple of comfy chairs. The bed springs sound like they've had better days yet the bed itself was still comfy. I just wish there were extra blankets as the duvet was a bit floaty (but not cold). There's a supermarket next door and another down the road with a few breakfast options along with a cracking Indian restaurant over the road. If you get the rooms at the back of the motel they're actually reasonably quiet plus there's free parking. If you're expecting a 4 or 5 star hotel, you'll be disappointed but, to be honest, it's actually hard to find fault. Like I say, basic but definitely more than adequate.

A great spot to stay if you are heading to the ASB Showgrounds, or even town if you are wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of central Auckland. Staff are very helpful and it has plenty of off road parking. Heaps of great dining options within a 10min drive. Great value accommodation.
