Ripetta Rooms was wonderful! Great location: a 1 minute walk to Piazza Del Popolo, 10- 20 minute walks to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon. The room was charming, clean and spacious. We had a room with twin beds and a corner view of the street. Absolutely wonderful! This is not a hotel with a lobby or restaurant… but there are plenty of amazing eating places immediately on the streets below The caretaker Patrick was super friendly and kind. Went out his way to make us feel very welcome. Would absolutely come here again!.

The bed was very comfy. No view which was a bit of a shame but it was only used as a place to rest so not a major issue. I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience so that others can make an informed decision before booking this property. This accommodation is advertised online as a 4-star hotel. In my opinion, that rating is completely misleading. What I found upon arrival was one of the most run-down properties I have ever stayed in, and certainly nowhere near the standard that most people would associate with a 4-star hotel. The condition of the building is extremely poor. The walls and communal areas are visibly worn, with cracked surfaces, peeling wallpaper, and a general lack of maintenance throughout. The room itself was equally disappointing. The air conditioning barely worked, the television was unreliable, the bed was uncomfortably hard, and the shower had both poor water pressure and drainage issues. The one genuinely positive aspect of my stay was the cleaner. She was kind, hardworking, and always willing to help. If anything at this property deserves a 4-star rating, it is her level of service. My biggest concern is that the online reviews and photographs do not accurately reflect the reality of the accommodation. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage potential guests to look beyond the headline rating and conduct thorough research before booking. This review is an honest account of my stay. I would not return, nor would I recommend this property to others. There are many accommodation options in Rome, go to them instead!

Fantastic little find in the HEART of Rome!

What a fantastic location. RIGHT in the heart of Rome and centrally located to so many of the iconic landmarks. This location was perfect for what we were looking for and at the price point, satisfied all of our needs. European rooms are smaller than American rooms regardless, so if you have a lot of luggage or more than 2 people, be prepared that you may need to verify the room size. For two people our room was the perfect size. If you are a very tall or larger individual, you may find the shower in our particular room fairly compact. Our contact (Marco) took care of setting up our transfers for us as well and was VERY attentive and helpful during our stay. The building was very quiet and you didn't hear any street or pedestrian noise. Depending on your cell provider you may or may not have reception due to the solid walls of the building, but wifi worked perfectly. If you are English speaking, be prepared, you are in Italy, so all of the TV channels are in Italian language as should be expected. We just watched our shows on our iPad. Housekeeping came by daily to refresh which was so nice to come back to after a long day of exploring.

Oh my God, where do I even start? This was an absolutely amazing property to stay at—I was completely blown away from the moment I arrived. I’m genuinely sorry my stay was only five days; I wish it could have been fifty! The staff were incredible across the board, and the amenities were phenomenal. The location is simply unbelievable. Our cleaning lady was outstanding—she took such pride in keeping every room spotless and welcoming. I’ve truly never experienced such warm, attentive service at any hotel before. The owner of Ripetta Rooms, Marco, is the most wonderful person. He clearly understands exactly what travelers are looking for and has created something truly special. There simply aren’t enough adjectives to describe how fantastic this stay was. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Very close to the centre of Rome. The only downside is the thin walls, but we were not bothered by it. I think everyone was really considerate about at what time you were coming and going. One big plus was the fridge! Although not big, you could store some drinks in there. Considering where it is placed, the prize is good.
