I really enjoyed the Edgewater Inn. I liked the location next to the river and across from the city. I liked being able to sit on my patio next to the river, have a cup of coffee and watch the world go by. The breakfast was quite good and the hostess kindly packaged mine up so I could eat it later in the morning. The dining space was pleasant and had a good view. IT is a simple, comfortable lodging place in a very convenient location for both going into the city and also enjoying Anastasia Island. I recommend it as a home base for exploring the area.
